ELP and friends partake in memorial parade for family of Emily Gifford

Staff from ELP along with friends, other Akron Public Schools employees and many more parade through Firestone Park for family of Emily Gifford. Ms. Emily was a favorite of all who came in contact with her. She had a way with her students and did whatever she could do to get language from them. Emily had a love for everything outdoors! 100+ cars showed up on Saturday, April 25, 2020 to parade pass Emily's family and friends to show love and support as we remember how amazing Em was. Emily passed away on March 21st very unexpectedly. She will be greatly missed by our staff and students.
